Bitcoin Gateway for EDD
Bitcoin payments in Easy Digital Downloads, confirmed by hand.
A manual Bitcoin payment gateway for Easy Digital Downloads. Like a bank transfer, the payment happens outside the site and the shop confirms it before the order completes.
// what-it-does
What it does
A gateway for a currency no payment processor in reach supported at the time.
EDD lists it as one more way to pay at checkout. The order waits in a pending state until the shop checks the payment arrived and approves it.
// how-it-was-built
How it was built
A payment gateway class for Easy Digital Downloads, in PHP.
EDD gateways register through its hooks, so the add-on sits beside the built-in gateways and follows the same order flow.
A custom build from before 2022. The code was never published and I no longer maintain it; this page keeps the record of what it did.

The portfolio is the record. The plugins, apps and systems I still maintain have their own pages, with current versions and numbers.
