Redirection Panel
A list of old and new links in, bulk 301 redirects out.
An admin panel that processes a list of links in bulk through the API of the Redirection plugin. Paste the old paths on one side and the new ones on the other, then add them all at once.
What you are looking at
- Each processed pair becomes a row, marked 301 when it worked.
- Shortened here: the two input boxes sit above the toolbar.

// what-it-does
What it does
The Redirection plugin is good at one redirect at a time. A site move needs many at once.
The panel takes two lists, original paths and their new paths, and sends each pair to Redirection. When the target post cannot be found by its slug, the row says so instead of creating a broken redirect.
What the panel does
- Two text areas side by side: Original and Redirection
- Add redirections with Ctrl+Enter
- Delete selected rows with Shift+Delete
- Show the latest 150 redirections with Ctrl+Space
- Clear the list with Ctrl+Delete
- Mark each row 301, or ERR when a post slug is not found
- Count up links
// how-it-was-built
How it was built
A WordPress admin page in PHP and JavaScript, on top of Redirection.
It adds no redirect logic of its own. Every redirect is created through Redirection, so the plugin stays the single place where redirects live.
A custom build from before 2022. The code was never published and I no longer maintain it; this page keeps the record of what it did.

Where the work went next
The portfolio is the record. The plugins, apps and systems I still maintain have their own pages, with current versions and numbers.
