Firefox add-ons

Small fixes for the pages I read every day.

Five extensions published on addons.mozilla.org, each for one page or one annoyance: Iranian ad networks, a music player without a download button, a fund price that needs arithmetic, a product ID buried in a WooCommerce page, and long X posts in two scripts.

Radio Javan Downloader and Iranian Ad-Blocker were both published on 28 April 2019. The 4.6 is Mozilla's own average across the account's add-ons, 4.56 before rounding.

Tweee: a direction per line

A post that mixes Persian and English breaks in every reader that picks one direction for the whole text. Tweee decides line by line.

Each line takes its direction from its first strong character. Persian and Arabic lines are set right to left in a Persian typeface; Latin lines left to right in the serif, sans or mono you choose; code stays left to right in monospace. Quote posts nest correctly in both directions, and pasting the last post of a thread unrolls the whole chain by walking the author's replies back to the first.

The app is one self-contained HTML file with no build step and no backend. It also ships as a Firefox extension, published in June 2026, and exports to PDF, HTML or a Telegram chat through your own bot. MIT on GitHub.

On a fund's page on tsetmc.com, the extension reads the statistical net asset value and the issue and redemption prices, works out how far each sits from the NAV, and compares the gap with a tolerance you set. The answer is one of three: the gap favours buying, favours selling, or is neutral. It is a calculator, not advice, and says so.

21 people use it daily, the most of any add-on I have published in the last three years. The source, with its Persian README, is on GitHub.
